The Downtown Front Royal Farmer's Market is now officially two weeks into our season, and everything is going great! Our producers are bringing more and more fresh fruits and vegetables every day, and out crafters keep bringing more unique hand-made products.
A few tips for our market shoppers:
1. Come early! - Fresh produce sells quickly, and our farmers are often sold out before the market closes.
2. Ask questions! - If you don't see what you're looking for, ask. Many of our producers might have already sold out of the item you wanted, but will have it again on the next market day.
3. Visit every stand! - Our market has a wide variety of fresh produce, and hand-made products such as candles, lotions, soaps, and more. If you skip a stand or two, you might not see something that you need.

Every Thursday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Every Saturday from 8:00am - 1:00pm

Thursday June 18th was the opening day for the Front Royal Farmer's Market. We're proud to say that the weather cooperated and we had a wonderful turnout of both customers and vendors. This was an encouraging start to the market, and everyone's spirits were high at closing time.
Saturday the 20th started with light rain and cloudy skies. The weather forecast called for showers on and off throughout the day, but the rain couldn't keep market-goers and vendors away. Saturday's foot traffic was high in between periods of rain, and many Front Royal residents braved the rain with umbrellas in hand to get their pick of some of the freshest vegetables, eggs, honey, jams, and other produce. Many vendors picked their offerings before the market opened that morning. It doesn't get much fresher than that!
We even had some local entertainers come out and play live music for everyone. What a great treat!

That's right! Starting June 18th and running until October 30th - The Downtown Front Royal Farmers Market is finally HERE! Every Thursday evening from 4-8 and Saturday morning from 8-1 the community can come an enjoy fresh produce, baked goods, gluten free items, Kettle corn, flowers, plants, herbs, soy candles, aromatherapy soups and lotions and more! Keep checking this site and the paper for information on guest speakers and special events to be held during the market hours.
